Le cache-pot Daphne en carton recyclé est
conçu pour dissimuler ou rehausser un pot
élégamment.
Le carton qui le constitue est découpé puis
mixé avec un liant et de l'eau. On peut aussi
ajouter un colorant naturel au mélange.
La pâte obtenue est ensuite placée dans un
moule pour prendre sa forme finale.
Cet accessoire zoomorphe aux larges
"oreilles" tient son nom de Dame Daphne
Sheldrick fondatrice d'un orphelinat
d'Éléphant au Kenya Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
Ce lieu est dédié à la sauvegarde de la vie
sauvage en Afrique.

The Daphne recycled cardboard planter is designed to hide or enhance a pot elegantly.
The cardboard which constitutes it, is cut then mixed with a binder and water; addind a naturel coloring to the mixture is also possible.
The resulting dough is then placed in a mold to take its final shape.
This zoomorphic accessory with large “ears” takes its name from Lady Daphne Sheldrick, founder of an Elephant orphanage in Kenya Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. This place is dedicated to the safeguard of wildlife in Africa.
